UFC Weigh-Ins

With news of the UFC main card being moved from UFC flyweight contender Ray Borg vs. champion Demetrious Johnson to the flyweight bout between Henry Celjudo and Wilson Reis — due to a viral illness of Borg — the excitement around UFC 215 remains at an all-time high inside Rogers Place.

On Friday afternoon, all 22 fighters participating in Saturday night’s fights stepped onto the scale in front of an energetic audience inside the Rogers Place bowl.

“I feel great. I’m ready for this fight,” said UFC No. 1 bantamweight Valentina Shevchenko.

Acting as the main event tomorrow night, Shevchenko will look to take the championship title away from Amanda Nunes. The fight was originally scheduled to take place on July 8th, however Nunes was forced to withdraw due to illness.

“I was ready July 8th and I’m ready right now,” Shevchenko added after weighing-in.

The crowd erupted in cheers following Shevchenko’s confident remarks, as the excitement continues to grow around the most anticipated fight of tomorrow night.
