On Thursday, May 12, ICE District Joint Venture announced that PwC Canada will be the latest tenant to join the Stantec Tower.

PwC, a national firm of chartered accountants and consultants, is scheduled to lease two floors, totalling 51,000 square feet, beginning in December 2018.

20160511_pwcstatectowerDavid Bryan, Edmonton Office Managing Partner, PwC Canada, stated, “we’re thrilled to be a part of ICE District. It’s a tribute to everything that’s new and exciting in our great city and showcases to the world that Edmonton is the place to be.”

“We’re excited to welcome one of the world’s largest professional firms to ICE District,” commented Glen Scott, Senior Vice-President, Real Estate, Katz Group.

Stantec Tower is set to open in fall 2018, and is expected to be one of the tallest structures in Western Canada at the time of opening—reaching 746 feet, housing 28 storeys of offices, and approximately 481 residential units.

Not only will the Stantec Tower be noted for its prominent addition to the Edmonton city skyline, it is designed to be a LEED Gold certified building, maintaining some of the highest standards for sustainability and green-friendly initiatives.

“Stantec tower has raised the bar in high-rise development,” Scott added.
