Canadian Finals Rodeo Celebrates Record-Breaking Success and Launches CFR 2026 Ticket Sales

December 18, 2025 — (Edmonton, AB) — The Canadian Finals Rodeo (CFR), powered by ATB, is proud to celebrate another year of record-breaking success and announce that 5 Pack tickets for CFR 2026 are officially on sale.
CFR 2025 welcomed over 43,000 fans to Rogers Place and across Edmonton, delivering an economic impact of $32.4 million, generating 18,000+ hotel room nights, and supporting 6,000+ jobs. These numbers reflect the CFR’s growing role as one of the city’s premier annual events, driving tourism, supporting local businesses, and showcasing the spirit of rodeo to fans from across Canada and beyond.
Beyond the arena, CFR Week transformed Edmonton into a citywide festival with concerts, culinary experiences, cultural showcases like Fleurs de Villes, and the Cinch Canadian
Country Expo, which drew 18,000+ visits and featured 100+ vendors. Fans embraced daily fashion themes, specialty acts, and interactive fan zones, creating unforgettable moments and social buzz.
Champion Highlights
The 2025 CFR showcased world-class talent and record-breaking performances, awarding
$1.48 million in prize money across eight major events. Fans witnessed history as:
- Zeke Thurston captured his 6th consecutive Saddle Bronc title with a stunning 5-point ride.
- Scott Guenthner made history in Steer Wrestling, sweeping all five rounds and setting a new earnings
- Jared Parsonage claimed his third Bull Riding
- Kyle Lucas earned his first Tie-Down Roping title in a dramatic final-round
- Jayden Wilson celebrated her first Barrel Racing
- Clint Laye secured his third Bareback Riding
- Bradi Whiteside dominated Breakaway Roping and was crowned All-Around Cowgirl.
- Kash Bonnett s Logan Cullen ruled Team Roping with three consecutive round
