New Year’s Eve Traffic Update

In anticipation of Rogers Place and New Year’s Eve activities happening in the downtown core this evening, we encourage guests to plan ahead. For those driving to Rogers Place, please note access along 104 Ave from 101 St to 104 St will be restricted to pass holders starting at 6:00 PM. Local residents, ETS transit buses, emergency vehicles, DATS vehicles, and those vehicles displaying an Accessible Parking Permit will be allowed, all other vehicles will be detoured.

It is encouraged to access and leave Rogers Place from the south, north and west. Access via vehicle will be limited from the east (Jasper Ave and 107 Ave will be the best routes from the east). In addition, 103A Ave will be closed from 97 St to 101 St for the City of Edmonton’s New Year’s Eve celebrations. Don’t forget you can help take the stress out of parking and book ahead through Reef Events.

We encourage guests to use the free ETS service starting at 6:00 PM, running until 3:30 AM on January 1, 2017. DATS is also free from 6:00 PM until 2:00 AM on January 1, 2017.

Just a reminder that the Pedestrian Portal and Rogers Place doors will be open at 6:30 PM. If you’re coming to enjoy the Molson Canadian Hockey House prior to 6:30 PM, please use the 104 Ave entrance.
