(Edmonton, AB) – The Edmonton Oilers announced today, due to demand, the Club is increasing its limit on Season Seats by 1,000 for the 2016-17 season, bringing the Season Seat cap to a maximum of 15,000 at Rogers Place.
“We have seen incredible demand for the new seating options at Rogers Place,” said Oilers Chief Commercial Officer Stew MacDonald. “Well over 90% of our current Season Seat Holders have already selected their new seat locations. With the growing number of members on our Season Seat Registry we made the decision to expand our Season Seat base to allow the greatest number of Registry members to become Season Seat Holders at Rogers Place.”
The Oilers Season Seat Registry was created to provide a fair way to ensure those who want Season Seats get them when they become available. Oilers fans can subscribe to the Season Seat Registry at EdmontonOilers.com. The deadline to register to be eligible for Season Seats for 2016-17 is Friday, April 22.
The Oilers will continue to offer Power Packs and individual game tickets in Rogers Place, though Season Seats are the best guarantee of tickets to the biggest games of the season. Details on Power Packs and individual game tickets will be announced in the coming months.
