Over 100,000 Watch Party tickets sold in first two founds of playoffs
The Edmonton Oilers announced all 18,000 tickets available for the Orange Crush Game 7 Watch Party presented by Rogers sold out in less than two minutes today. The Watch Party, scheduled for Wednesday, May 10 at Rogers Place, will air the live Sportsnet broadcast of Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Playoff series between the Oilers and Anaheim Ducks.
Net proceeds from ticket sales support the initiatives of the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation.
This is the seventh Orange Crush Watch Party presented by Rogers of the Oilers 2017 playoffs. Total Watch Party ticket sales at Rogers Place have now exceeded 100,000, including four sellouts of 18,000.
While Rogers Place is sold out, space is still available in Molson Canadian Hockey House and Ford Hall for fans wanting to be a part of the Orange Crush at Rogers Place via the giant LED screen inside Ford Hall.
- Access to Molson Canadian Hockey House is free of charge and available on a first-come, first-served basis. All attendees must be 18 or older. Fans can experience the playoff atmosphere and enjoy a selection of Rogers Place food and beverage for purchase. Please note there is no seating for this event. Doors to Molson Hockey House open at 5:00 PM (MT).
- Families across Oil Country can also take in the action with all-ages access to watch Game 7 on the giant LED screen in Ford Hall, also available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note there is no seating for this event.
Access to Molson Canadian Hockey House and the all-ages Ford Hall Watch Party are through the Rogers Place pedestrian portal at 103 Ave and 103 St.
Fans in attendance and across Oil Country are encouraged to wear orange and get loud.
