Rogers Place, set to open its doors in time for the 2016 National Hockey League (NHL) season, is the anticipated new home of the Edmonton Oilers. The US$604m project — a public-private partnership between Oilers owner Daryl Katz and the city of Edmonton — nestled in the heart of Alberta’s capital city, will also include a community rink, Winter Garden, LRT connection, and pedestrian pedway.
