What: The Edmonton Folk Music Festival, a not-for-profit society, began in 1980 and boasts a profound performer lineup from around the world.

What: Free to the public, the Works Art & Design Festival shares visual art, design and entertainment with over 58 exhibits throughout downtown Edmonton. Interested in learning about local artists? What: At the Edmonton International Street Performers Festival, be prepared to be entertained by some of the most exciting outdoor performances — from musicians to jugglers. Entrance is free, although the traditional pass-the-hat gratuities are always welcome.

When: July 8 – July 17

What: The Blueberry Bluegrass & Country Music Festival is an annual, family-friendly music festival that attracts bluegrass and country music fans from all across Canada. This festival boasts camping, workshops, craft tables, and more. If this festival doesn’t satisfy your country-music-craving, don’t forget to checkout the upcoming country acts coming to Rogers Place.

What: The 35th annual Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival invites buskers, outdoor performers, artists, and over 1,600 live theatre performances hosted in over 40 venues across the city.

When: August 11 – August 21

Where: Locations across Edmonton
