Following a recommendation by the tournament COVID-19 Medical Group and the International Ice Hockey Federation Medical Committee, the IIHF Council has decided today that, due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19 and the Omicron variant, the 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship has been cancelled to ensure the health and safety of all participants.
For all ticket holders, please be advised a refund for all your future World Juniors games that have been cancelled will be provided to you no later than January 28, 2022. Thank you for your understanding.
