(Edmonton, AB) – Oilers Entertainment Group (OEG) and the Edmonton Oil Kings announced today the historic first regular season hockey game at Rogers Place, being played by the Edmonton Oil Kings on Saturday, September 24, 2016, is officially sold out. This marks the first-ever sellout in Oil Kings modern franchise history and also smashes the previous attendance record set.

On September 24, 2016, 18,102 fans will be the first to witness hockey in remarkable Rogers Place as the Western Hockey League’s (WHL) Oil Kings entertain the Red Deer Rebels at 7:00PM MT.

The Oil Kings will set a new franchise single-game attendance record breaking the previous high of 16,651 achieved back on March 10, 2012 at Rexall Place.
