The Edmonton Oilers will begin the 2017-18 season with an eight-game pre-season schedule, including one game in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan against the Carolina Hurricanes.
On September 18, the Oilers open their 2017 pre-season schedule against the Calgary Flames with split squads facing off in both Edmonton and Calgary.
Following the series with Calgary, the Oilers hit the road for a game in Winnipeg (September 20), then return home to host Vancouver (September 22), Winnipeg (September 23), and Carolina (September 25) at Rogers Place. The Oilers will finish the pre-season schedule with two games on the road, facing Carolina in Saskatoon (September 27) and the Canucks in Vancouver (September 30).
