Alex Janvier introduced into Edmonton Hall of Fame
On Monday, June 13, Alex Janvier was introduced into the Edmonton Salute to Excellence Arts & Culture Hall of Fame. Janvier, an internationally-acclaimed artist from Northern Alberta, was selected as the signature artist for the Rogers Place Winter Garden. Janvier’s painting, Tsątsąke k’e (Iron Foot Place), is being translated into a tile mosaic that will be installed in the floor of the Winter Garden.

Janvier’s painting, Tsątsąke k’e (Iron Foot Place), is being translated into a tile mosaic that will be installed in the floor of the Winter Garden. Installation for this piece is expected to begin later this summer.
