On Sunday, May 29, local media were invited inside Rogers Place for a construction briefing hosted by the City of Edmonton, Oilers Entertainment Group (OEG) and PCL Construction Management.

Fire Aid Benefit Concert Announced
On Thursday, May 26, Members of Alberta’s Fire Aid Organizing Committee — including Bob Nicholson, Oilers Entertainment Group (OEG) — announced details for the Fire Aid for Fort McMurray concert. This benefit concert is set to be held at Commonwealth Stadium on Wednesday, June 29. All proceeds raised from this event will benefit the Fort McMurray United Way to support the city’s efforts to rebuild. Headliners include Nickelback, Blue Rodeo, Corb Lund, and many more!
