Gretzky statue to be relocated
For nearly 27 years, thousands of Oilers fans were greeted by a 950-pound bronze statue of Wayne Gretzky before entering into Rexall Place. With the upcoming move to Rogers Place this fall, the famed statue will be following the team to its new home outside the Oilers Hall-of-Fame Room on the 104 Avenue sidewalk.

PBR brings the heat to Edmonton
On Wednesday, August 3, Oilers Entertainment Group and Professional Bull Riders (PBR) announced their partnership. This partnership will bring the PBR Monster Energy Canada Tour Finals to Rogers Place in November 2017 as a part of a 10-day western lifestyle festival.
Stantec reaches new heights
At 66-storeys, the new Stantec Tower will become the Canada’s tallest building outside of Toronto and the tallest in Edmonton.
